Veilstone City - The Party Operation

One of the largest cities of Sinnoh was filled with lights on buildings and streets as night filled the sky...

Located in a forest outside this city was a large knight landing in the trees...

"Finally..." He muttered, kneeling down and placing his hand on the ground to allow his passangers to get off. "We're here..."

...while he smiled at the city. "Man... haven't been here for a whi-WHOA!!!"

He was pushed off by his Pokemon as she shook her head. "Gla..."

"Jenny, where are we meeting your contact?" He asked as he got off.

@johanna@ "I told you; at the docks." Jenny answered, carefully leaping off the knight's hand while keeping her skirt away from her feet. Glancing at Red and the others, "You guys should wait at the Pokémon Center, though. The docks is Galactic property," And then up at the giant knight, "Though I doubt the costume thing will fool people, after the show you performed here."

"Uh...what show?" Shrugging, Red leaped off the hand before taking a Poké-Ball out of his belt. "Platina!"

"Ms. Berlitz!" Dawn huffed, stepping off the hand without even looking.

Rolling his eyes, Red tossed the Poké-Ball to her.

"Wha-wha?!" The girl almost fumbled the ball before clamping it tightly. For that, Dawn glared at Ash.

"Well, someone has to bring Haunter. Don't worry; I told him to pay attention to you."

"...Haunter?" A cringe, she felt down her spine. She remembered seeing such Pokémon back at Fantina's gym, and they didn't comfort her one bit. Looking at the ball in her hand, she can see a round ghost with such spiky feature around it face. It had the most gastly and vicious mouth you ever saw, plus such ghostly hands that seemed like they can reach out of the ball and grab you.

*gulp*

@haunter@ The moment the Haunter notice he was being stared at, it looked up at the girl, blinking...

...before making such weird face like a Picasso. It cackled as it did.

Suddenly, Dawn felt so cold.

"Too bad he can't de-Digivolve into a Rookie like ours can..." He muttered. "We'll have to pick him up once we've got the keys... that way, we'll have a powerful force on our side..."

"And when Jenny mentioned a show... did she meant about Giratina and all that?"

He nodded, taking out his Digivice. "Yes... but, let's not dwell on that now... we have to get to the port so..." He held his Digivice out to Gaomon. "Sorry..."

"No problem, sir..." He said before returning into his Digivice like a Pokemon...

He handed Koichi his Digivice. "Hold this for me until I get back..."

He nodded. "OK..."

Glancing at his own Digivice, he frowned. "Hey, Ash... do you still that purple cat-fox thing with you?"

"You mean Espeon?"

"Yes, that!"

"Yeah; why?"

"Considering that Agumon doesn't stay in his Digivice for a second, can you have your Espeon keep an eye on him?"

"Yeah...uh...about that..." pressing his lips together, Red scratched his head. "I don't think he'll have as much patience as you..."

"......Can I count on you and the others to make everyone believe Agumon is just a kid in a costume?"

"Not the first time we used excuses to hide our digimon, Marcus." Kari looks down at Agumon, "Though, would Pokemon Trainers believe it to be a costume of a dinosaur... that is if Dinosaurs existed in this world." Looking up at the trainers, "Did they?"

@johanna@ Smirking, Jenny held up a hand. "Truuuuust me. You be surprised at the crazy things trainers dressed up as."

@red@ Red chuckled, remembering the kooky trainers he met. One fat guy dressed as a Gardevior. *shudder*

@dressdawn@ Platina took a few steps away from the group, heading for the city gate. "Let us not dilly-daddle. We must make haste to the party."

"All right... here..." He held his Digivice out to Ash. "Keep an eye on Agumon for me... just keep the food safe."



"Uh...sure..." Taking the Digivice, Red exaimined it. It looked like one of those weird iPods he see people use. If only he had enough money to buy one...and a computer... "Uh...how does this work?"



"It only works with the original owner... We're giving our Digivices to you in case Cyrus or anyone else has anything to pick them up..."



"Oh...okay!" Depositing it into his jacket pocket, Red walked after Plantina. "Come on, guys!"



He followed Ash and Dawn...



"Remember, Agumon..." He said as he walked off and looked over his shoulder. "BEHAVE! I'll be back..." He muttered to himself. "This is irony with a captial I..."



"Telling someone to behave? I know..." He chuckled.



He waved. "Good luck, you guys!" He blinked. "Hey... is Calumon with us?"



Funny he asked that, for the little Digimon was already out in the city. Flying over the buildings, the playful little one marveled at the sights, and the strange 'Digimon' that were with the people. It wasn't like home, where people always run from Digimon. Now people play with them. "YAAAY!!!"



"I know he came with us.... and it didn't look like he went with Marcus and the others so..."



"Ah, he must be with Alphamon!"



"No..." He said from behind the trees. "He's not... there's only option where he could be..."



"Uh.... uh oh..."

@johanna@ Meanwhile, Jenny grabbed Thomas and Marcus' wrist, pulling them toward the other road in town. "Lets worry about Cyrus."

He sighed. "All right... Ash and I will try and find Claumon... when we do, we'll meet up back here..."

"OK!" He rushed off to Veilstone, groaning. "And I wanted to take five in the Pokemon Center..."

She was annoyed Lucas said that, but kinda happy that Dia sounded his usual self... "Gla..."

Soon, they would be across the street from a one story building, mostly made of glass. Defiantly some type of center, used for aristocrats. And today, it was used for one large party. The front was pretty much used as some drive in for limos and cars, where parking valet awaits to drive their vehicles to the parking lot. There were also a small line by the door, made of people wearing such fancy suits and dresses...

@johanna@ "Uh oh..." Jenny can see the bouncer waving some type of stick device at those near the large doors. "Poke-ball scanners. Platina..."

@dressdawn@ "Ms. Berlitz!"

@johanna@ "Whatever. You can't bring your Pokemon with that around."

"And where is she going to put them?" He asked. "I mean... all of us are going in there."

He stared at the scanners and frowned. I thought something like this might happen... it's a good thing we left the Digivices behind...

@dressdawn@ "No need to worry," Reaching into her purse, Dawn pulled out a belt of her six poke-balls. She then held it to Marcus. "You use them." Leaning closer to the belt, mostly the one containing Haunter...though she tensed being near it, "You listen to Mr. Marcus; you understand?"

@haunter@ Nodding, the ghost pulled down an eye-lid, sticking his tongue.

@johanna@ "Yeah, might as well, since Marcus does have to go out through the back." Grabbing the belt, Jenny dropped all the balls into Marcus' pouch on his apron. "Let out Haunter after you drugged the Houndoom, but do it in a secluded area. Poke-balls make a lot of noises."

As the Pokeballs jiggled in his apron, he crossed his arms. "OK... I'll head to the back, but first..." He held a hand out to Jenny. "I do need that stuff to drug the Houndoom..."

"Oh yeah!" Grabbing from behind her back was some type of tiny green bottle. "Just sprinkle this on the meat."

He took it and put it in another apron pocket. "You got it! I just gotta make sure no one else eats the meat while this Houndoom follows me..."

"Nah, it always eats meat in these parties, each year."

"All right... I'll do my best." He made his way towards the back of the building...

"All right, ladies... shall we?"

@johanna@@dressdawn@ Nodding, the girls crossed the street, which was pretty much owned by the center ahead. Jenny was about to go back in line, but Dawn smugly shrugged it off and just headed toward the door, ignoring the people's complaining of her cutting in line.

"Hey, kid; I don't care who you are. No cuttin in line!" the bulky man barked.

@dressdawn@ With a calm and arrogant look, Dawn flashed him a gold flier, which was a seal. "I think this should speak for our reasons."

His jaw dropped when he spotted the familiar seal. In fact, the seal of a Dewgong jumping over a ice flower was known by everyone in Sinnoh. "T-The Berlitz?!?" Nervously, the man clumsily removed the fluffy rail. "Please go right in."

@dressdawn@ "Why thank you very much," she smugly said, walking right in.

@johanna@ "This way, darling!" 'Johanna' said, leading Thomas in with her arm linked with his.

He tried his best not to blush as he and Jenny followed Dawn into the building. "Thank you..."

And they would meet with the sight of a massive party in a classy looking dining room. It's all on the list of stereotype rich parties, filled with crystal chandeliers, white-cloth tables with so much high-class food, and people, who clearly had a lot of money, just standing around, making idle chat. And to top it off, across the room was a massive glass wall that had a gorgeous view of the harbor.

"Remember; just stay calm around Cyrus. The guy is freaking creepy!" She also wondered if Marcus made it through the back, because she can see a familiar Galactic member with the demonic dog on his side, just around the right corner of the dining room.
