Me and AC been talking about upgrading the stats rules to the PokeRP system...meaning stats on the mons are gonna get BEEFED!! This stat system is a level grinding style, meaning you have levels like Pokemon.
Leveling and Evolving
When you just start out in the RP, or have a new mon, you only need to defeat one opponent to level up. But each time it rises, till you need to beat five people to level up. REPEAT: 5 foes to defeat to level-up. BUT, sometimes, you may level up even more when defeating special bosses.
While Pokemon will follow the official stats on when to evolve...Digimon....uh, that TBA.
HOWEVER, Shinka Points will still be used in the same way. Pokemon can only use Shinka points to Digivolve when they have a trainer with a D-Sphere....but there are exceptions, later on. Shinka points can also be used like Rare Candies, but can only be done when an Digimon and Pokemon have human partners.
Stats
When you level up, usually a mod monitors the leveling stats. But each level-up rewards you with extra dice points, which you have control of where they go, even to HP.
When they evolve, they gain extra points, of course.
To Rookie (Stage 1): +5 stats/+10 HP
To Champion (Stage 2): +10 stats/+20 HP
To Ultimate (Stage 3): +30 stats/+50 HP
To Mega (Stage 4): +50 stats/+100 HP
To Mega2 (Stage 4a): +100 stats/+100 HP
To Mega3 (Stage 4b): +100 stats/+100 HP
When Warp Digivolving, you also add in everything between.
There are some special exception to some forms. Evolve by Happiness, Trading, Stone, or Armor (or Gyarados): +15 stats/+30 HP
Psudo-Legendaries get +20 stats and +40 HP
Special Megas like Royal Knights, Demon Lords, and such have a Mega2 boost, with +200 HP.
Oh yes! It'll be tough...but I'll have to go over many of the apps and decide what level everyone will be right now. But please...DO NOT erase your old stats. We'll see how this goes. This is also a way to judge how a character is, especially for new apps.
Training and Digi-Farms
There are other ways of training stats without leveling, even though it can be slower and sometimes expensive.
For Digimon, if you're lucky to get a Digi-Farm, you can mod it with special training programs. These programs specialize in only one stat, but there are some that specialize in two stats at the same time. But these programs usually cost 20,000 or more. But if you were to get one, Digimon in your Digi-Farm gain +1 whatever stat each thread.
Pokemon trainers can easily train Pokemon by just writing how they trained the Pokemon. Illustrate what stat you were aiming for, and you get +1. However, this waste HP by 10%. Please make sure the training makes sense, like NOT train during battle.
Also, there are vitamins for all mons, but they are pricey.
OH YEAH!! For Pokemon, do not worry about the attack list in getting them through leveling. Like in the anime and mostly manga, you can use any attack you want, but only ONE breeded attack, and you can only use four attacks per thread. Also, you can only choose FOUR TM moves throughout the entire RP.
