At this point, two characters walked down the path from Route 110, headed into the harbor town that had, hours ago, seen a battle between three Digimon and one Pokémon. "...I hope we can find someplace to rest, here..." Ymmu murmured, rubbing his neck. "...man... and I was making a killing at that casino..."

With a mild grunt, BlackAgumon merely glanced up at the night sky.

"You didn't use your digimon to cheat, did you?" A female voice, though slight raspy laughed, its owner was hidden by a veil of smoke rolling in.

"...cheat?" Ymmu blinked, glancing around him. "N-no! I was making an honest profit there! My partner was elsewhere!"

"...who's there?" BlackAgumon growled, looking around him.

What figured that stepped out, didn't fully reveal herself, as she wore a cloak over her body and a hood over her head, concealing everything but only her mouth, nose and one eye, and a few strands of her hair. She still stood in the smoke, it swirled around her feet as if she was standing in a little pool.
"Well, if you say so. Not that it really matters to me. Just funny at how all these digimon are now appearing in this world... won't be long till humans use them just as they have on one earth."

"...what are you talking about?" Ymmu uttered, adjusting his hat slightly.

The woman chuckled in her raspy voice, "On a few alternate earths, government organization have been set up to confront and contain the digimon on their world, this include rogue tamers, with a digivice or without. So really, with the open universe all around, this world might have to set up a digimon-organization too."

"...rogue tamers..." Ymmu uttered.

"...why are you telling this to us?" BlackAgumon growled.

"No reason... thought it might have been of interest." She replied, she began walking past the two, the smoke following her.

"...uh..." Blinking, Ymmu looked back after the woman. "Wait! Who are you?"

Growling, BlackAgumon looked back at her as well.

The woman turned, her face had a mysterious smile, "Just some digimon doing a favor for a friend."

"...friend?" Ymmu blinked, looking from the woman to BlackAgumon, then back to the woman. "...who is this friend?"

"And please... don't be cryptic. Give us a name." BlackAgumon shot in.

"I don't think she'd like having her name revealed so easily. I'm even using her form, but here I am hiding it under this cloak." The smokey girl laughed.

Ymmu blinked at that.

"...my apologies, but..." Quickly, BlackAgumon lunged at the woman, intending to rip the cloak off her to reveal her looks underneath. "...I don't like vagueness."

[Alien-Child]

But the moment he ripped off the cloak, the girl's body dissolved into smoke, each cloud formed eyes and mouths and they giggled.

"Nuh-huh-huh, no peeking!"

That certainly spooked Ymmu. "EEP!"

"...tell us." BlackAgumon snarled, looking back at the Mokumon. "Who is this friend of yours? And why did you come to talk to us, of all people?"

"We're not telling you her name, but we only talked to you because you had a digimon." The Mokumons chuckled as they swirled around, the cloak was sucked into the swirling smoke as the female figure return.


"But maybe... you might see her, perhaps. Tell me, have you seen anything of interest lately?"

"...of interest?" Ymmu blinked. "...well, it depends on what you feel is interesting..."

"...like that human that captured five Digimon in a row with a sphere..."

"...or the portal that got me and BlackAgumon to this world in the first place."

"Portals are being common these, but a human capturing five digimon in a sphere like a pokeball... not that is something is."

"...right..." Ymmu nodded. "...I think he was heading north, with some other people."

BlackAgumon growled a little. "...forgive me for appearing hostile, but it's hard to trust you when you've left our questions barely answered."

"Not sure why you would rather know who my friend is... considering with all these worlds, who's to say you'll know me? Course, that'll be an advantage for us. But very well." Grabbing the rims of her hood, she pulled it down revealing her face to the two and away from the audience.
