WWW Continent: They're Not Lovers

[Salem]

WWW Continent, a large and massive landmass on the eastern side of the digital world, yet always wrapped in mystery and very few explorers ever trek there. Why? Perhaps because of the rumors of a grand evil that lurks here, maybe it has something to do with the vanishment of many who did came here. Though, there are still digimon who come and live here, though even fewer humans... fewer, but that doesn't be 'no human' comes here.

A portal opens and Yamato steps out, and drops his canine digimon to the ground. Without a glance, he went into his bag and pulled out a piece of meat and held it before the dog's snout.

Cerberus' slowly came out from his coma and sniffed the meat and bite into the meat.

"Watch the fingers!" Yamato stated, pulling his hand away. Sighing, he looked across the landscape. "Home sweat home!"

@@ "Home?! What a dump." a familiar girl scoffed.

@sorata@ Who happened to be a rather ticked girl, in a scarf.

@hyokomon@ "Surrender, villain!" the little chick warned, aiming his little blade at Yamato.

@sorata@ "Skye, shut up."

"Anywhere I go its a dump," Yamaot smirked, "But in the end, I always find something to fight. Sometimes they're fun, other times they're boring. At rare moments, like today, I end up losing... which most of the time ends on the fun side, meaning there's something for me to go after."
Chuckling, Yamato turned to Sorata, "So helmet, why bother following me? I'm not in the mood for revenge today, if that's what you're asking."

@sorata@ "No I'm wondering about you Digivice." scowling, she held up hers, which was on her wrist. "I was told only mine can travel through dimensions."

"Digivice?" Yamato snorted, l"Don't need that to go to worlds. Cerberus can sniff out open rifts, namely since he was affected by an X-Antibody. Course, his nose been going mad lately, not that it matters. So is that all you wanted to ask, Dollface?"

@sorata@ ".....oh..." she sheepishly muttered, looking away. "This is embarrassing..."

Yawning, he looked out the vast plain. “Why would something like that matter to you, anyway? Perfer the `There can only be one' crap?”

@sorata@ "Yeah, pretty much. I rather not have a cartoon character have MY kind of power, too."

"Cartoon?" He squinted his eyes a bit, "Oh right, that bull-crap my dad did. Never really watched that show, how was it anyway?"

@sorata@ Slowly gaping...as her little Digimon waddled around, "....what did you say?!"

"Uh, how was the show?" He squinted, "Yeah, my dad thought it could help clean my act when he pulled some strings at the TV company, he said he got me and my brother inside. Not that I care, doesn't seem like the show I'd watch. How was it anyway?"

@sorata@ Her eyes grew wide as she slowly pointed her shaky finger at him.

@hyokomon@ "Mistress Sorata?"

@sorata@ "B-But I thought you were made-up!!" shaking her head, Sorata tried to regain her composure, but to no luck. "Where was I in that last world?!"

"Uh, right before me." He raised an eyebrow, "Or what, one of those alternate-counterpart bull-crap? Nah, the only you I saw there was you... wow, that was odd thing to say." Shrugging, "What you mean made-up? Let me guess, I've been a bad boy that the writers tried to cover my cartoon-version's origin or something?"

It happened suddenly, a twinkle in the sky and it came flying down, like a comet.

And like one, it made a great impact once it hit the ground, some distant away from the group.

"Seems like." Yamato put his hans in his pockets and walks towards the impact, and made a whistling tune.

Cerberus growled as he got to his feet and followed the boy, weakly though.

"Either its a baby kryptonian or the comet that'll kill the digimon just like the dinosaurs." He darkly joked.

The object in question laid in a crater it formed, it was hexagon in shape and gave off a glow, and an insignia within.

@hyokomon@ The moment the arrived at the edge of the crater, Hyokomon leaped off Sorata's head. Unsheathing his blade, "Stay, demon, or you will taste the sharp edge of my-"

@sorata@ "Skye...it's just a...something that isn't alive."

@hyokomon@ "....oh..." pouting, he slid his sword back in his scabbard.

Just by being close to it, did the bird awaken the object. Especially as it detected a 'kindred spirit'. Like when it crashed to the ground, it flew straight for Skye, landing on his arm. Though he won't feel pain from it except maybe the force blowing him back.
Right no his wing, the light dimmed down revealing the logo.

Digimemory-Bird: Wearing this, the wearer gets +10 HP and +2 stats each and can switch type and family to Normal, Flying and/or Wind Guardians. If the user already is of those type and/or family, gets a +5 stats each and allows easier access to ultimate, even on Pokéarth .
