In Kurata's laboratory, the scientist had been working his ass off on the two projects he had given...
Until there was a knock on the door.
"Hmm?" He turned towards the door, having put the finishing touches on something. "Oh, come on in!"
Sird emerged through the door, smirking. "Hello, Professor. How far are you done in your assignments?"
He smirked, holding up two devices. "They're both prototypes, but they should fulfil their purposes well enough." He stood up, holding the black Digivice-like device with the Rocket symbol on it with his left hand, "This what I'd like to call the 'Poke-Vice'. It can accept Digi-Soul, but it has its own methods of generating the required energy, including fake Digi-Soul I used to use in order to power my Gizumon." He held a device that resembled a simple 'crown', one could see that it had parts that could clamp down on the wearer's head to make removing it extremely difficult. "This, is a prototype device for controlling Red. It's what I call a 'Slave Crown', inspired by an old game. It works extremely well on the kind of 'taint' that Red has, I theorise, but I also think it might be capable of controlling anyone who wears it. The wearer will automatically recognize and obey the voices of any of the Admins."
"Excellent." She took them off him, and noted, "Though, there is one other thing I've been wanting to say..."
He blinked, confused. "And what would that be?"
She suddenly grabbed him by the collar, a scowl appearing on her face, as she came close and personal, her face right in front of his. She began to whisper so no-one else could hear (well, if someone was passing by the room, that is), especially not the security cameras, which she had switched off only just before, and purposely made anyone who knew about that swear not to tell anyone else on pain of death, especially not Ariana. Her excuse was that she wanted a 'private' conversation with the Professor, concerning information that was too sensitive to be recorded on the camera. As far as anyone outside this room was concerned, this part of the conversation never happened. "I know exactly what you have done, and what you're capable of. Make no mistake, you are still useful to us, but I would suggest that you be careful about what you do from now on. If you even attempt to double-cross us, I will personally make sure to finish the job that your own bomb started. I'm watching you."
She then let go, walking away with a smile. "I'll inform you if there's anything else we need."
Kurata's expression had been locked into one of sheer terror, right until Sird left the room. "Uh... I'll keep working..." How did she know?!
The truth was, hours prior, Sird had received a data transfer containing a wealth of extremely useful information, such as an entire database's worth of information on Digimon, the Digidestined and other Tamers, all three seasons of the Digimon anime, and finally, two very important video clips that the sender emphasised. First, was a showcase of what Piedmon did during his time as a Dark Master before he was sealed in the Gate of Destiny by MagnaAngemon. It didn't take long for Sird to discard any idea of reviving him as infeasible, however.
Second, was a showcase of Kurata's history and deeds. This, she had full intention to keep secret for now. The last thing the other Admins needed to know was that Kurata was a genocidal maniac. Well, that is, until Shin spills the beans, but if he actually cared, he would've done so already.
Sird, was too smart to just blindly accept this information. She suspected that the sender had his own agenda. Ironically, she had no idea that the sender was no longer capable of actually acting on it. Regardless, either way, what she had received was extremely useful...
This would result in her knocking on the door of Ariana's office not long after her little conversation with Kurata, both devices in hand.
