Odaiba School: Curiosty of the Izumi kind

Today was a puzzling development. His brain was just about puzzled trying to figure out this mystery, as Koushiro 'Izzy' Izumi just layed his head over the head of his chair. He tried everything he could think of, from trying to trace every frequency reading of their Digivices to even just resetting the computer, fives times.

But Izzy can't find out how most of his friends suddenly dropped out of the face of the Earth...or the Digi-'Earth'. The only 'nano' lead he had was when Cody e-mailed that he found a Digimon that didn't even recognize the Digital World. Weird...

Well, it's mostly the younger branch that are missing. However, Davis and Yolei are still around, but the said girl was busy with her folks. And as for Davis...well, when it comes to his friends, and ESPECIALLY Kari, that boy doesn't listen to logic. He didn't care he had to go through a haystack to find a needle; Davis thought he can find him the traditional way when technology failed.


Foolish.


At least Davis didn't disappear...

...and now a Digi-Port application has opened in the monitor before him. The resisdent computer genius knew what that meant...

...just get out of the way.

"WHOAAAAA!!!"

*CRASH*

Izzy, he rolled away on his chair, hardly had any emotion at what happened. He still relaxed in exhaustion on his chair, watching the pile of boys and Digimon on the floor. However...his interest perked when he found the other two boys were ones he didn't recognize, and that tall blue dog Digimon was something he never seen before. 1.9.0.8

"Whoa...wild ride!" Pokemon 7 said as he got up and looked around, "So...we back home?"

"(I don't think so...but we're not in that world, I'm sure!)"

Shoving the bodies off him, Davis found himself back in the school computer labs, where he sees Izzy who haven't left his seat since Davis left. "Now don't say 'I told ya so', Izzy, but-"

"You didn't find the others, huh?" like that was a surprise. So like Davis to ignore logic. But now they have another question. "Davis, who are these people?"

"Huh???" The blonde kid, on his knees, looked around in confusion. "What was that about? Where am I?"

"Uh...hey mister," 7 pointed to Izzy, "Mind teling me what region this is?"

"(Did you just...)" Lucario said as he picked up DemiDevimon by the tail, "(shrink?)"

@demiveemon@ The tiny reptile felt like a little mouse compared to this tall Digimon...who doesn't smell like a Digimon. Odd...

"Uh...I just de-Digivolved? Why? Did your Digivolution broke?"


@izzy@ "Region?" Perhaps these kids are from another continent. "It's Japan."

@casualdavis@ "Izzy, guess what!" Davis pointed at the two trainers. "These guys don't have Digivices!"

@izzy@ Flinching back, Izzy's jaw hung. "Huh?! Then how did you two get to the Digi-World?"

@jun@ Arching a brow, Jun shrugged, "Dude, if you're talking about that pink gadget thing his girlfriend has, then we don't have one."

@izzy@ "Pink...?" the computer nerd gasped. "You seen Kari?!" The thought of their friends being in another continent crossed his mind, but Izzy didn't detect their Digivice on the world map.

@jun@ The boy nodded, "Yeah, she's in Sinnoh."

@izzy@ "Never heard of it."

"(Digivolution? Is that a term your species cal evolution?)"

"Japan? Never heard of it...uh?" Pokemon 7 turn to his vest, and out of a light was Lickilicky, Tangrowth, Mime JR, Driftblim and Gallade. "Oh...you guys haven't had much time outide the pkeballs, huh? Hang on," Pokemon 7 then turn to Davis, "I was wondering how you were able to catch that blue dragon guy...wh now a little dragon..."

@izzy@ "This is random!!" he muttered, nearly had any room from the computer.

@casualdavis@ Davis was another story, who was under the tongue Pokemon. "Dude!! Where the heck these guys come from!?!"

@izzy@ "Alright, that's enough!!" Izzy shouted, making a T-sign with his hands. Glaring, he pointed at the thief, "Please, can you put your Digimon away...wherever you pulled them from so we can get some answers?"

@jun@ "Dude!!" Jun growled, who was squished between Gallade and a bookshelf. "They're Pokemon, and I can't move!!"

@izzy@ Strange, for that boy meant Pokemon as plural, as if its a type of species. "See...this is what we need to discuss. Can you please put these...'mons' away?"

"Sorry...but they haven't been ll out and fresh since...my world!" Pokemon 7 said as he recaled everyone but Lucario, and Mime JR who was sleeping on Davis' hair. "Sorry guys...next time we're in the opening, you're get some rum-time, promise!"

@izzy@ Taking a deep breath, after finally getting back some room, Izzy glanced at the trainer's poke-balls. He thought they be Digivices, but Davis said they don't have any. So are they some type of new Digimon gear? But no...the blonde kid called those creatures Pokemon.

"Someone needs to explain what is going on, starting with this creatures you claim not to be Digimon."

@casualdavis@ "Man!" Davis stood up, oblivious to the clown Pokemon on his head. "Yo, what do you mean they're not Digimon? Dude, did you get a good look at them? They can't be anything BUT Digimon."

@izzy@ Unless this has something to do with the 'Digimon' Cody found. "Well that's why I need some explanation."

"You mean I'm in another word?!" Pokemon 7 shouted, and then groan, "Well...atleast I'm around humans...look, Pokemon are kind-a like those guys-" Pokemon 7 pointed to DemiDevimon, "and they are ike animals that can be part with humans, and use special powers. Oh, where's a pokemon researcher when you need one?"

"Mime, mime!" The little pokemon yawned as he shifted a bit in his blanket of hair.

@casualdavis@ Pouting, Davis scratched his head. "That sounds like Digimon." Snapping his fingers, Davis jerked his thumb at Lucario. "Then again, this dude always keep saying 'Lucario! Lucario!'."

@demiveemon@ "But he sh'peaks perfect Japanese to me, Davish'." the little dragon leaped on Davis' head, barely hanging on because another mon was on. "Make room!"

@casualdavis@ "Hey, get off my head, you two!"

@izzy@ Groaning, Izzy rubbed his forehead. It doesn't seem like he's going to get a straight and clear answer.

@jun@ "You, man! Thing is, they're Pokemon, not Digimon! It's that straight! So I guess that means his girlfriend is back in my world."

@casualdavis@ "But she not-" Davis shook his head, wondering why he almost said that. "Uh...I mean...YEAH, Kari's my girl!"

What a big grin he has.


@izzy@ Izzy ignored Davis, deciding to let karma teach him a lesson. "So...what you're saying is...you're from...another world?"

[Alien-Child]

"No, duh/Lucario!"

Mime JR began to wake up and gave DemiDevimon a friendly wave, "Mime, mime!"


"Me and Lucario fell into some portals...after our runs with a few...Digimon, right?"


"(I believe that's how they pronounce it!)"

"What kind of Digimon?" it would be easier to use their Digivices, if they had any, to identify these Digimon with his Digimon Analyzer.

"Uh...they had BIG mouths, and looked like some black...goblin things. And man, they smell! They were like 'Raaaagh' and 'Booooo'! "

Great, that narrows it down to maybe over two dozen Digimon. And this kid is more energetic than Davis, the 'interesting' way he explained things.

"And I think they shouted 'Nightmare Shocker' that gave our Pokémon nightmares."

But that helped. "Vilemon?!"

"I think so, dude! They were robbin this vampire's coffin thing and snatched his stuff." Barry pulled out a necklace from under his shirt. "That scooped a bunch of these up."

And that was something Izzy thought he never see again. "T-The Crest of Light!?!?"

"WHA?!?!?" Snapping up, Davis manage to knock DemiVeemon and Mimi Jr off his head. "Kari's crest?! But I thought you guys gave them up!!"

Yes...but...this boy said he found it in a coffin, which means, "No...this is a fake; one of the fake crests Myotismon used to try to find Kari."

"Mime, mime mime!" Mime JR imitated Davis' jestures.


"(So you guys know what that is? What about the book?)"


"There was also a few of your Digimon Trainer friends in my world, plus three giant Digimon, and some purple-Ninetails."

@izzy@ He's not sure if he can actually believe that they're from another world, but he might as well, for the sake of confusion and argument, that he believes them. That would fill in the blanks of some questions, like why Izzy couldn't trace their signals. Or that 'Digimon' that didn't know the Digi-World.

But another question asks, why some Vilemon were after Myotismon's fake crests. But maybe that can wait.

"Yeah, I figured that, but I like to know how this mess happened."

@jun@ "Because these bad dudes called Team Galactic messed things up and brought your weird 'Diggy-mon', or whatever to our turf...at least that's what those Digimon trainers of yours said."

@casualdavis@ "Trainers? Dude, don't you mean DigiDestined?"

@demiveemon@ "Davish..." the little dragon on the floor whined. "Why you have to knock me over?"

"Uh?" Pokemon 7 turn to Lucario who was making hand-signals to shape of a square, "Oh...those bat-guys also stole some book, know anything about it?"

@izzy@ "None what so ever, but I'm much concerned for my friends. If I can figure out a way to get to your supposed world, then maybe we can conclude the other mysteries along the road. If you say that this...team started this mess, then it's a high priority we stop them before they cause damage to the Digital World."

@casualdavis@ "But how are you supposed to do that?"

@izzy@ Sighing, Izzy dropped to his seat. "Well...I've been trying to reach Gennai to help, but he hasn't answered. I hope he's not trying to act as his 'mysterious' self and not call for a long while. So right now, we're stumped."

[Alien-Child]

"The only times I've seen anyone go into my world, was with those portals. I'm not sure when they're show up or how, but...that may explain the rumors I've been hearing about people and Pokémon being missing."

[AnT]

"And if these dimensional rifts are like lightening, then it'll be impossible to predict where they strike through conventional means."

"Uh...you mean help find them with junk from quickie-marts? Dude, don't you have some tech-nerd site to order your computer stuff, Izzy?"

As usual, Davis doesn't get it. "I mean, even with the highest human technology, Davis. The only one who would have very advanced and sophisticated resources is-"

Suddenly, a digital tone ranged from the computer. Izzy immediately turned toward it and rapidly typed the keyboard. "Prodigious! Gennai replied!..." muttering the mail, which was mostly info on what he discussed, "He said he found a way to detect a dimensional rift, and one is happening close to the machine city dome."

"Then lets get there!!!" Quickly, Davis held his D3 at the computer. "Digi-Po-"

"WAIT!!!" Izzy quickly pulled Davis wrist away from the computer. "Once you even enter that world, I have no way of contacting and keeping in tabs with you."

"Well we gotta get there, tabs or no tabs, Izzy!"

"Jedi? Dude, does he have a lightsaber?"


"(Hiori...)" Lucario sighed, "(Hm, well at least we found a ticket that will reach back home...just hope it goes to our world and not somewhere else.)"
