He clenched his Digivice. He need to get the Pokemon out of the cages somehow... and he knows how to do it...

Summoning his staff, he quickly sank into the shadows...
...and ended up in the shadows of the cages, but didn't emerge from it...
...what did emerge... was the staff breaking the cages easily to allow the Pokemon to go free.
