Looking over a cliff, she saw an endless field of red rock, randomly bursting from the ground and spraying lava. We have to find something sacred here... perhaps this enviornment protects it?

Scoffing, Snimon shook her head. "Yeah, if 'on top of a mountain' counts as a secret hideaway..." she murmured. "...well, when Leo's off and meditating here, he usually stays on a mountain. That one, in fact." she said, pointing at one mountain not too far from them.

"Rivers that evaporate upon contact with the ground." That was not an exaggeration; the heat from around them was enough to make each droplet of sweat from Mari fizzle into steam upon contact with the ground.

A huge, humanoid warrior came down with a loud, angry battlecry before slamming something on the ground...

...creating cracks and shockwaves... to seperate only two from the others to face them directly...

And those two were...
